Risk at Revolut operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure the business operates safely. They’re among the first to be involved in new initiatives, from tech to customer support.
We’re looking for a Retail Credit Risk Manager who'll support growing our retail credit portfolio. You'll make data-driven decisions on risk-adjusted return requirements and lead preventive and reactive actions that impact portfolio credit performance and profitability.

What You'll Be Doing
- Overseeing exposure to retail credit risk
- Working with the Risk Modelling team to design, develop, and implement retail credit risk models
- Managing risk appetite through limit calibration and monitoring
- Maintaining key policies, procedures, and controls
- Engaging with first-line businesses to identify, monitor, and govern emerging retail credit risks, including new product risk assessments
- Engaging with key stakeholders, committees, and regional regulators on material retail credit risk exposures and limit governance
- Quantifying risk exposures within the organisation, taking into consideration stakeholder impact
- Protecting the company from excessive risk-taking, saving on both short and long-term costs
- Building trust and reputation with our external stakeholders and ensuring risks are managed within the risk appetite
- Identifying emerging risks that require immediate attention or could threaten long-term viability
What You'll Need
- 7+ years of experience managing the risk cycle for retail credit products, like credit cards and unsecured personal loans
- A solid understanding of credit policy governance framework, and the ability to work through the three lines of defence in a competent manner
- Expertise in European Credit Risk regulations, issues, and methodologies
- Knowledge behavioural scoring models related to retail credit products
- Great communication skills to explain complex concepts in a simple manner
- A deep-thinking mindset to balance date analysis and decision-making
- To thrive in dynamic working environments
- A data-driven approach to problem solving
Nice to have
- Practical retail credit risk experience in Western European markets
- Knowledge of SQL, R, Python, or other data analysis tools
- A willingness to learn new technology
- Experience in business credit and mortgage lending
