About The Role
The Finance team keeps Revolut moving with clarity and confidence. From accounting to strategic support, they work across the business to assess risk, guide decisions, and drive growth. Their insight shapes everything from daily operations to long-term plans and plays a key role in how we scale.
We're looking for an experienced Regulatory Reporting Manager to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory reporting obligations to Hungarian authorities. You'll be improving our current processes and leading the implementation of new reporting requirements.

What You'll Be Doing
- Producing and reviewing regulatory reports on our branches, including statistical returns and other local regulatory requirements prior to submission
- Supporting in the branch launch, defining and implementing the process for the submission of the necessary regulatory reports
- Overseeing and supporting junior team members in other jurisdictions
- Assessing, developing, and maintaining proper controls, robust documentation, and change management approaches for all reporting areas (automated and manual)
- Communicating issues with appropriate data owners
- Monitoring and tracking issues to ensure timely and appropriate resolutions are achieved
- Staying current on new and evolving regulatory reporting requirements, assessing impact, and ensuring compliance for accurate reporting
- Working closely with Accounting to ensure financial reporting and decision support is consistent in all future regulatory applications
- Ensuring a close relationship with the Central Bank and responding to additional queries that may arise
What You'll Need
- Either 4+ years of experience working in a compliance or reporting function for a bank (or similar regulated entity), or 4+ years of experience as a consultant/auditor in a Big 4 (or similar environment) in financial services
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- The ability to make sense of regulations and develop processes and frameworks to compile new reports and enhance existing ones
- To be a self-starter and independent worker
- To be highly self-motivated
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to relate to local cultural aspects while working in a highly diverse environment
- Great organisation skills to plan and deliver to tight deadlines with close attention to detail
Nice to have
- Experience working with financial regulators
- Expertise working with IFRS accounting standards
- Proficiency in regulatory reporting standard software (particularly Adenza/Axiom)
- Experience in regulatory policy
- Knowledge of software or IT platform change initiatives
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Fluency in Hungarian with an impeccable ability to prepare, read, and interpret accounting legislation
