About The Role
Our Compliance team blends regulatory expertise with data-driven thinking to make sure our products meet legal and policy requirements and deliver real value to customers. In a fast-moving, digital environment, they stay one step ahead by finding smart, scalable ways to manage conduct risk.
We’re looking for a Regulatory Compliance Manager who can see what’s needed to keep our consumer protection practice in compliance. You‘ll be responsible for advising our business on compliance requirements and related controls.

What You'll Be Doing
- Advising the business on insurance compliance requirements and related controls across the EEA
- Creating, assessing, and implementing policies from scratch
- Reviewing product initiatives and providing timely feedback
- Managing the training programme
- Reviewing and approving marketing communications
- Analysing customers complaints and working with the business to drive better customer outcomes
- Carrying out compliance monitoring activities, and horizon scanning for the countries we operate in
- Reading large pieces of regulation, mapping them to controls and policies in place, and remediating identified gaps
- Partnering with Business Risk Managers to resolve compliance risks and incidents
- Identifying regulatory issues proactively and recommending remedies to promote compliance
- Liaising with key stakeholders as required, both internal (Legal, Risk, BSA/AML officer, etc.) and external (regulators, advisors, partners, etc.)
What You'll Need
- Experience in compliance risk management within a consultancy, compliance function, or regulator
- Knowledge of how to conduct regulatory gap analysis
- Familiarity with policy creation and implementation
- Expertise with insurance distribution and FOS business model
- The ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects at once, and meet tight deadlines
- A solid understanding of the interplay between compliance risk and business risk
- The ability to communicate positively with members of various internal teams and regulators
- Multi-tasking abilities with impeccable attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Expertise in regulatory requirements on insurance intermediation, and a willingness to develop knowledge in the other areas (e.g., crypto, privacy, etc.)
