Job Description

About Revolut

People deserve more from their money. More visibility, more control, and more freedom. Since 2015, Revolut has been on a mission to deliver just that. Our powerhouse of products — including spending, saving, investing, exchanging, travelling, and more — help our 65+ million customers get more from their money every day.

As we continue our lightning-fast growth,‌ 2 things are essential to our success: our people and our culture. In recognition of our outstanding employee experience, we've been certified as a Great Place to Work™. So far, we have 10,000+ people working around the world, from our offices and remotely, to help us achieve our mission. And we're looking for more brilliant people. People who love building great products, redefining success, and turning the complexity of a chaotic world into the simplicity of a beautiful solution.

About The Role

Our Compliance team blends regulatory expertise with data-driven thinking to make sure our products meet legal and policy requirements and deliver real value to customers. In a fast-moving, digital environment, they stay one step ahead by finding smart, scalable ways to manage conduct risk.

We’re looking for an experienced Regulatory Compliance Manager to safeguard our operations and ensure compliance in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. You'll provide 2LoD compliance advisory oversight to ensure we meet our regulatory requirements and deliver good customer outcomes.

Up to shape what's next in finance? Let's get in touch.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the group regulatory compliance strategy through the design of group-wide policies, procedures, and standardised risks and controls, and overseeing their implementation
  • Enhancing risk appetite frameworks, and overseeing and advising the 1LoD on controls and metrics necessary for adherence
  • Performing lessons learned on incidents, issues, and identified non-compliance to subsequently design and implement group-wide enhancements to prevent recurrence
  • Partnering with local subject matter experts to ensure adoption of minimum group standards and supporting their implementation
  • Presenting to senior management on the effectiveness of controls across the 1LoD and other group entities
  • Partnering and potentially mentoring other Regulatory Compliance Managers, Operations Analysts, and Data Analysts in working collectively and collaboratively to achieve goals

What You'll Need

  • Expertise in regulatory compliance (non-financial crime) obligations, including PSD2, MiCA, consumer protection, and complaints
  • Experience within the 2LoD and supporting the business to implement 1LoD controls necessary to meet these obligations
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team across multiple jurisdictions
  • A solid understanding of the interplay between regulatory compliance risk and business risk
  • A solution-oriented mindset that facilitates solving complex problems efficiently, independently, and with high attention to detail
  • The ability to communicate positively with members of various internal teams and external stakeholders, such as regulators
  • Demonstrated sound and pragmatic judgement
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
