About The Role
Risk at Revolut operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure the business operates safely. They’re among the first to be involved in new initiatives, from tech to customer support.
We’re looking for a Financial Risk Manager to identify, quantify, and manage financial and trading risk. You'll join the second line of defence to ensure that first-line businesses properly manage risks and controls.
You'll work closely with Treasury, Finance, Operations, Technology, and the broader Risk team to independently assess and oversee risk-taking activities.

What You'll Be Doing
- Setting standards for managing capital, market, and liquidity risk, including risk appetite and balance sheet management
- Ensuring the firm is compliant with all aspects of MiFIDPRU and defining responses to financial risk regulatory changes
- Developing and implementing the ICARA process
- Ensuring our risk management framework is properly embedded, including risk identification, control management, breach remediation, and ongoing monitoring
- Modelling financial risks under various stress scenarios with appropriate assumptions and calibrations
- Ensuring accurate and timely submission of regulatory reports, such as the MiFIDPRU returns
- Engaging and challenging first-line businesses to identify, monitor, and govern emerging financial risks, including new product risk assessments
- Monitoring capital, market, and liquidity risk exposures against internal and regulatory limits
- Investigating risk events, producing related MI reports, and escalating breaches to the appropriate committee
- Building relationships with senior stakeholders to support risk governance and challenge emerging risks
- Promoting a pragmatic risk culture that enables sustainable growth
What You'll Need
- Expertise in financial risk management within multi-asset investment/trading firms or banks
- A solid quantitative background with the ability to build, interpret, and challenge risk models, assumptions, and scenarios
- Familiarity with MIFIDPRU regulatory requirements
- An understanding of global financial markets, products, and key capital and liquidity risks
- Knowledge of the financial services regulatory landscape impacting risk management
- Excellent stakeholder management, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience designing and implementing ERM frameworks in a financial services environment
- The ability to create and analyse data in new ways to get important business and risk insights
Nice to have
- Exposure to high-growth startups or scale-ups in finance or other industries
- A degree in business administration, engineering, economics, finance, or a related field
- An MBA, CFA, CAIA, or FRM certification
