About the Role

The Data Protection Officer at Revolut will set, deliver, and embed the data protection and privacy strategy for Revolut UAE. This role involves advancing group policies, procedures, and risk controls, and reporting on the programme's effectiveness.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design and implement data protection and privacy policies.
  • Oversee management of data protection risks and controls.
  • Deliver training programmes to enhance awareness.
  • Report to senior management and committees.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external regulators.

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience as a Data Protection Officer in the UAE.
  • Strong engagement with UAE regulators and compliance fundamentals.
  • Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Solution-oriented mindset in complex privacy issues.

Nice to Have

  • Additional privacy certifications.
  • Experience in coding (SQL, Python, Java).
  • Background in fintech, payments, or regulatory investigations.
