Role Overview: Staff Machine Learning Engineer

At Revecore, as a Machine Learning Engineer, you will drive our AI-enabled workflow program. Your expertise in machine learning, data analysis, and software engineering will enhance the productivity and efficiency of our underpayment business by prioritizing claims based on expected recovery dollars, identifying root causes, and improving our claim-remit matching process.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development, training, productionization, evaluation, and improvement of machine learning systems to rank claim opportunities.
• Analyze and explore data to identify actionable opportunities from internal and 3rd party data.
• Research, implement, and launch new model architectures that drive business impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, data engineers, subject matter experts, product managers, and analysts.
• Implement MLOps best practices to optimize model development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Continuously measure and improve the impact of AI-enabled workflows on key business metrics.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in machine learning or data science roles.
• Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Proficiency in scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch with Python and/or Scala.
• Strong data wrangling and exploratory data analysis skills.
• Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) tasks and tools such as entity extraction, seq2seq modeling, transformers, and Hugging Face.

Preferred:

• Experience with Spark.
• Experience operating ML pipelines on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Master's degree or Ph.D. is a plus.
