About the Role

Retensa Employee Retention is seeking a Software MIS Intern Spring 2026 to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will assist in the design, architecture, and deployment of cloud-based SaaS applications, new websites, and mobile applications while engaging in cross-functional technology problem solving.

What You Will Do

  • Support product specialists with R&D research and feature requirements.
  • Provide testing support in staging and production environments.
  • Update documentation, design product mock-ups, and develop front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Engage with software users and offer customer support.

What You Are

Candidates must be seniors or graduate students in CS, CIS, Web Tech, IT, or MIS with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Previous web technology skills and experience in at least three areas such as web app development, UI/UX, AWS, Agile methodologies, application testing, SaaS delivery, software documentation, or mobile app development are required. Automation testing experience is preferred.

Internship Details

This remote internship requires a commitment of 20-24 hours per week over approximately fourteen weeks. A stipend of up to $1000 is provided upon successful completion. High-performing interns may receive a job offer post-completion.
