Description

The Member Experience Representative will assist members and non-members with various administrative and financial transactions. This role includes processing routine banking transactions and recommending products and services based on the member’s financial goals.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Greet members professionally and address their issues and requests.
  • Process transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, checks, money orders, and loan payments via multiple channels.
  • Balance and verify daily transactions and cash totals.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all products and services to offer appropriate recommendations.
  • Open and close computer terminal accounts on a daily basis.
  • Examine documents for endorsement and negotiability and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Perform drive-up teller and night drop functions as assigned.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years' cash handling experience
  • Prior banking/credit union experience preferred

  • Excellent mathematical and problem solving skills
  • Strong written, listening, and verbal communication abilities
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient with 10-key series and Microsoft computer applications
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a changing environment
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Prolonged periods of standing or sitting
  • Operation of standard office equipment and keyboards
  • Repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, and fingers
  • Ability to navigate the facility with reasonable accommodations
  • Occasionally lift and carry small parcels or packages

Additional Notes
