What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Provide supportive patient care functions under the supervision of licensed medical professionals.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort in accordance with legal and professional standards.
- Perform delegated tasks as directed by a physician or registered nurse.
- Administer injectables and perform advanced clinical tasks (for Medical Assistant II).

What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- No experience required with certification/registration as a Medical Assistant or 1+ years of directly related Medical Assistant experience without certification/registration.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Basic medical/nursing terminology knowledge and computer proficiency.

- Certification/Registration as a Medical Assistant for Medical Assistant II and III.
- 5+ years of directly related experience for Medical Assistant II.
