Overview
The Reserve Bank of Australia is offering a fixed term contract for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst through December 2026 in a hybrid work environment. Play a key part in the RBA's security team, ensuring that Australia’s critical core banking and payments systems remain secure, efficient, and resilient.
About the Role
This role focuses on vulnerability management as part of the Vulnerability Posture Management team. Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing and maintaining CIS benchmark scans in our vulnerability management tool
- Triaging vulnerabilities from various sources
- Tracking remediation efforts by IT teams
- Managing tools used by the posture management team
- Informing the strategic direction of the posture management team
Your Team
You will be a part of the IT Security Services team within the Bank, specifically the Vulnerability Posture Management team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
About You
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about cyber security, has experience in vulnerability management or related IT Security functions, and possesses solid knowledge of enterprise infrastructure. A Baseline Security clearance is required.
