Research Support Assistant, Level III
The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the full-time position of Research Support Assistant, Level III. The successful candidate will contribute to the coordination of eating disorders and research studies, have basic computer skills including MS Word, WordPerfect, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Full-time effort will be 100%.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This Research Support Assistant serves as a technician for the Eating Disorders Research Unit in the department of psychiatry. It is responsible for the primary operational support for studies, organizing research in collection of study related specimens, management of data, and other administrative duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, or a related science, or a Bachelor's degree in a different field along with (2) years of professional research experience.
- Years of experience in a research setting and the ability to organize a large number of time-dependent tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in eating disorders research preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
