Logistics Analyst

Position Summary

The Logistics Analyst is responsible for coordinating drivers, trucks, and containers to optimize capacity, maximize productivity, and ensure prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all customers. This role also focuses on safety, customer experience, and productivity oversight.

Principal Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with required safety policies and procedures.
• Analyze daily route information and adjust routing via internal platform.
• Manage same-day changes and next day planning to improve route design.
• Verify route closure data accuracy and ensure timely route closure.
• Evaluate and resolve transit issues promptly.
• Oversee driver safety and asset security while providing direction.
• Collect and analyze logistics data to enhance routing accuracy.
• Maintain constant communication with drivers for progress updates.
• Assess and address driver performance issues.
• Create efficient routes with maximized capacity for profitability.
• Monitor daily routing to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
• Identify and implement swing route opportunities.
• Coordinate disposal plans in consultation with the Operations Manager.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Customer Experience

Interact courteously with customers, ensuring route design supports driver efficiency and safety. Analyze and prioritize customer promises, update call center communications daily, and proactively manage service exceptions to uphold high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Experience in time-sensitive and customer-facing roles.
• Two years of dispatcher or similar leadership experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $48,640.00 - $72,960.00. Employees are eligible for a bonus plan and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, employee stock purchase plan, and more.
