Overview

Build and operate the Data and Analytics platform for Rentokil Initial. In this role, you will define data principles, architecture, and governance; deliver quality reports and analytics; and support the data agenda with platform reporting and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data integration processes ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Deliver engineering solutions of low to moderate complexity.
  • Transform and model data to support data analysts and business leaders.
  • Design scalable data architecture and warehousing solutions.
  • Build data pipelines, infrastructure, and analytical models.
  • Research latest innovations and foster a continuous learning environment.
  • Ensure data security and adherence to Information Security standards.
  • Collaborate closely with business teams and other data engineers.
  • Utilize Agile methods including Scrum and SAFe.
  • Apply CI/CD techniques and use version control systems.

Desired Experience & Skills

  • Advanced data modeling and strong SQL skills.
  • Experience with Cloud deployments (preferably GCP).
  • Knowledge of ETL tools and real-time processing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with BigQuery, Java, and/or Python is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.
