Sr Staff Agentic Models Engineer – Automotive SoC
Renesas Electronics is seeking a Sr Staff Agentic Models Engineer to join our System-on-Chip (SoC) AI team. Responsibilities
- Own the complete lifecycle of AI-first agentic systems, from ideation and requirements gathering to architecture, implementation, testing, and launch, leveraging AI throughout the process.
- Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and product teams to integrate AI capabilities that enable agentic behavior—autonomy, continuous learning, and real-time adaptability—directly into smart devices.
- Continuously scout, experiment with, and deploy the latest AI models and algorithms, such as reinforcement learning and multi-agent systems, adopting new technologies daily.
- Optimize AI solutions for high performance, ultra-efficient power consumption, and robust reliability on Renesas SoC platforms, utilizing AI-driven optimization techniques.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience in AI product development through real-world agentic projects or a public GitHub repository showcasing innovation.
- Possess deep expertise in agentic AI systems, including building autonomous agents, developing reinforcement learning solutions, and deploying adaptive algorithms and cutting-edge technologies like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), persistent memory operating systems, and collaborative multi-agent architectures.
- Proficiency in Python and C/C++, with strong experience using leading AI frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to inspire teams through leadership.
