Job Overview

The Senior ESD Engineer will join the Failure Analysis Team at our Palm Bay, Florida campus and establish an ESD and Latch-up characterization group. This role focuses on characterizing and reporting on semiconductor products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop plans and perform ESD and Latch-up characterization for new products.
• Create HBM, CDM, and Latch-up test programs per JEDEC and AEC standards.
• Design and build ESD and Latch-up test fixtures including test boards and sockets.
• Provide test status updates to internal teams.
• Debug failing pins and collaborate with Failure Analysis and Design Teams.
• Maintain and update submission policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in semiconductor device failure analysis.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Experience with ESD and Latch-up testing and board design tools (Cadence, Allegro preferred).
• Strong knowledge of JEDEC and AEC standards, electrical schematics, and semiconductor packaging.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• US citizenship or green card required.
