Job Details

Graduate ESD and Latch-up Engineer

Position Overview: New college graduate (Bachelor's level) role for individuals authorized to work full-time in the United States. This position is 100% onsite at Renesas' Palm Bay, Florida campus.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop plans and perform ESD and Latch-up characterization on new products.
  • Create HBM, CDM, and Latch-up test programs per JEDEC and AEC standards.
  • Design and build test fixtures including boards and sockets.
  • Provide regular test status updates to internal team members.
  • Debug failing pins and collaborate with Failure Analysis and Design Teams.
  • Update and maintain submission policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Experience with electrical bench or instrument control work.
  • Understanding of semiconductor fabrication and packaging.
  • Knowledge of diodes, transistors, and ideal soldering skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, take direction, and work as a team player.
