Graduate ESD and Latch-up Engineer
Position Overview: New college graduate (Bachelor's level) role for individuals authorized to work full-time in the United States. This position is 100% onsite at Renesas' Palm Bay, Florida campus.
Responsibilities:
- Develop plans and perform ESD and Latch-up characterization on new products.
- Create HBM, CDM, and Latch-up test programs per JEDEC and AEC standards.
- Design and build test fixtures including boards and sockets.
- Provide regular test status updates to internal team members.
- Debug failing pins and collaborate with Failure Analysis and Design Teams.
- Update and maintain submission policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Experience with electrical bench or instrument control work.
- Understanding of semiconductor fabrication and packaging.
- Knowledge of diodes, transistors, and ideal soldering skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, take direction, and work as a team player.
