What Makes This Role Special

The Render Security team is a small, dedicated group handling all aspects of security. This role involves full-stack security ownership, an engineering-first approach, and proactive threat management to shape foundational security practices.

You Will

• Build internal tooling for secure resource access.
• Implement detection and monitoring systems for vulnerabilities.
• Analyze security issues from various assessments.
• Collaborate with developers to promote secure design.
• Liaise with customers to address security and compliance.
• Communicate risks and solutions across teams.
• Maintain robust authentication and authorization systems.

What We're Looking For

6+ years in software engineering or security with experience in secure web applications, vulnerability analysis, incident leadership, and a strong sense of ownership. Nice-to-haves include SIEM detection engineering, experience with Go, Typescript, Kubernetes, and compliance frameworks.
