Job Description
VDC System Assistant Manager
Renault Nissan Technology & Business Centre India is seeking a VDC System Assistant Manager to support VDC system development activities aligned with project milestones, focusing on cost and quality. This role involves checking and studying VDC ECU details, including CAN planning architecture, circuit checks, switch and indicator specifications, and electrical performance specifications for both conventional and ADAS feature vehicles, along with their change content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support VDC system development according to project milestones, ensuring cost and quality targets are met.
- Analyze VDC ECU details, CAN planning architecture, circuit designs, and electrical performance specifications.
- Evaluate ECU details for conventional vehicles and vehicles equipped with ADAS features.
- Understand and work with Vehicle Dynamic Control Software and Hardware.
- Engage in software and algorithm development for vehicle motion control functions (e.g., traction control, ABS, ESP).
- Participate in Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
- Conduct in-vehicle testing and real-world validation on test benches and actual vehicles.
- Utilize automotive communication protocols such as CAN.
- Debug software issues using proprietary and standard tools.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Knowledge of Vehicle VDC-ECU, Infotainment, and CAN related software is required.
- Bench test experience is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Vehicle Dynamic Control Software and Hardware.
- Experience in software and algorithm development for vehicle motion control.
- Familiarity with MIL, SIL, and HIL testing methodologies.
- Experience with in-vehicle testing and validation.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols like CAN.
- Strong debugging skills using various tools.
- A systematic and analytical mindset for problem-solving.
- Potential for project leadership or specialization in ADAS.
- Deep knowledge and operational capability with development tools like CANalyzer/DDT2000.
