About the Performance Marketing Lead Role:

We are seeking an experienced Performance Marketing Lead with a proven track record in scaling paid media for health and/or supplement brands, specifically within a subscription business model. This role requires a deep understanding of how ad creative and messaging connect with landing pages, upsells, and post-purchase flows to drive profitable growth. The ideal candidate is a true numbers-driven performance marketer, confident in their expertise, and capable of fine-tuning funnel metrics to achieve profitability across the full customer lifetime value (LTV).

You should be able to clearly articulate past successes, failures, and the underlying reasons, working closely with creative and landing page teams. You will provide clear, opinionated direction to ensure all paid media efforts consistently meet required performance metrics. This is initially a Part-Time remote role with the potential to transition into a full-time position within 2-3 months.

Key Requirements for a Performance Marketing Lead (Subscription Business Model):

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive experience scaling paid media for health/supplement brands.
  • Strong understanding of the complete marketing funnel: creative → landing page → upsell → post-purchase flows.
  • Proven experience with real health supplement funnels at scale.
  • Deep knowledge of performance metrics and funnel math, including full, 3-month, and 6-month LTV.
  • Ability to clearly explain crucial metrics, their healthy ranges, and how to adjust them for profitability.
  • A genuine performance marketer who can "turn the dials" for optimization, not relying on vague testing.
  • While not responsible for building creatives or pages, you must recognize effective design and offer clear, actionable opinions for metric improvement.
  • Capable of explaining past outcomes (what worked, what didn't, why) based on direct experience, avoiding ambiguous responses.
  • Experience with or understanding of tools like Blotout and platform tracking limitations.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, numbers-driven, and organized.

Responsibilities of a Performance Marketing Lead:

  • Own paid media performance, prioritizing profitable growth.
  • Execute calculated risks and course-correct based on data analysis.
  • Provide specific, actionable feedback to creative teams to enhance performance.
  • Adjust advertising spend to identify scalable opportunities and cap underperforming areas.
  • Rotate creatives to test new angles and manage ad fatigue effectively.
  • Manage budgets strategically to drive tangible business growth.
  • Track creative and message performance comprehensively.
  • Maintain a systematic testing process for continuous optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with creative and landing page teams.
  • Help establish baseline assumptions and refine them as data becomes available.

You’re Not a Fit For This Role If…

This role is not for you if you lack personal experience scaling paid media for health supplement brands beyond small tests. If you cannot explain funnel math, metric ranges, and how to optimize them for profitable LTV, or if your strategy relies on vague testing instead of proven frameworks at scale, you won't be a match. Additionally, if you don't grasp the integrated system of ads, landing pages, upsells, and post-purchase flows, this position is not suitable.

Our Hiring Process:
