The Panda Drum is a fast-scaling E-commerce DTC brand known for its flagship steel tongue drum with over 100,000 customers worldwide. In just 3 years, the company has grown to 25–50 team members across Poland, the EU, the US, the Philippines, and China, and surpassed 8 figures in annual revenue, primarily in the US market.
About the Role
The Head of Operations D2C E-commerce will serve as the CEO’s right hand and second-in-command. This role is central to scaling global operations, managing supply chains, fulfillment, and vendor relationships, while driving cost efficiency and systemization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize supply chain, fulfillment, and vendor relationships.
- Implement scalable systems, dashboards, and SOPs.
- Manage cost efficiency, including margins, landed costs, and forecasting.
- Lead growth initiatives for Amazon expansion, wholesale, licensing, and subscriptions.
- Build and mentor a lean, high-performing team.
- Drive performance tracking and reporting using data-driven metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership teams.
- Maintain high communication with international partners.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years in operations/logistics/supply chain within DTC/e-commerce jurisdictions.
- Proven experience in building scalable systems and dashboards.
- Hands-on management of international supply chains and 3PLs.
- Strong financial acumen and cost optimization skills.
- Experience with tools like Shopify, Amazon, Notion, Slack, n8n, and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility to travel internationally a few times per year.
