About the Opportunity
The role of Technical Support Associate involves investigating, triaging, and resolving complex user-facing issues. You will serve as the front line of support for veterinary clinics and vendors using our platform. This highly collaborative role involves working closely with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
What You'll Do
- Investigate and respond to technical support inquiries regarding bugs, data discrepancies, and API issues.
- Reproduce, document, and escalate software bugs with clear technical context.
- Query and validate platform data, flag anomalies, and escalate issues.
- Communicate empathetically with users about issues, fixes, and workarounds.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to resolve complex issues.
- Maintain internal documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
- Utilize tools such as Intercom, Zendesk, and JIRA to manage support tickets.
- Support daily operational tasks including product catalog validation and order reconciliation.
- Liaise with external vendors to synchronize data and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Provide feedback on trends and improvement opportunities for platform stability.
- Identify automation opportunities to optimize support and ticket escalation processes.
You Should Have
- 1+ year experience in technical support, product operations, or QA, ideally with SaaS platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Familiarity with APIs, browser dev tools, JSON responses, and debugging techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A team-first mindset, empathy, and patience under pressure.
- Bonus: Experience in veterinary, medical, or healthcare software environments.
Benefits & Compensation
This is a full-time role with a base pay range of approximately $50,000 to $80,000/year (varies by location), plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k contribution, and more.
