2. About the Opportunity:
The Technical Business Data Analyst role is designed to enhance data quality, reporting, and analytics capabilities within the organization. This position impacts decision-making by identifying data anomalies, developing data quality frameworks, and creating analytical models and visualizations. The role supports business units by translating technical data insights into actionable recommendations and ensuring accurate, timely data for strategic reviews.
3. Responsibilities:
• Write optimized SQL and Python scripts to analyze large datasets
• Design and maintain data quality validation and monitoring systems
• Collaborate with Data Engineers on data warehouse modeling
• Conduct root-cause analysis of data discrepancies
• Translate business requirements into technical data specifications
• Develop semantic layers and dashboards compliant with data governance
• Create visual reports to communicate key performance metrics
• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency
• Prepare actionable data-driven recommendations
• Support enterprise data needs for regular and ad-hoc reporting
4. Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business Analytics, Computer/Data Science, or related fields
• Proficiency in SQL programming including Stored Procedures and optimization
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Google Analytics, or Looker
• Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Effective professional communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with banking technology is a plus
• Meets remote work technical requirements including 100mbps internet and a quiet workspace
