This Support Engineer role involves working on complex and varied network designs, diagnosing and fixing difficult problems, influencing product direction, and sharpening skills across every layer of the stack. Responsibilities
- Provide consistently high-quality technical service to customers, earning trust through accuracy, responsiveness, and results.
- Deliver actionable product suggestions to the engineering team, shaping the next generation of hardware and software.
- Strengthen the team through clear documentation, peer training, and engineering expertise.
- Troubleshoot and resolve tickets spanning every layer of the network stack.
- Manage and support complex customer networks, primarily remotely.
- Identify and document product bugs with clear reproduction steps and escalate as needed.
- Create well-structured feature requests based on real customer needs.
- Build and maintain documentation to reduce time-to-resolution.
Requirements
- Expertise across wireless, security, WAN/LAN, routing, DNS, and other networking areas.
- Commitment to improving the network experience for every customer with reliable solutions.
- Analytical mindset comfortable with ambiguity and solving unique problems.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication skills and strong collaboration with teammates and customers.
Compensation
The estimated salary range for this Support Engineer role is $127,500 to $210,000. This role is eligible to participate in the organization's equity plan.
