About the Opportunity

This organization, a remote-first, open-source software leader with over 20 million global users, seeks a Staff Product Marketing Manager. This role focuses on creating Go-To-Market programs that effectively communicate the value of the organization's open-source visualization tools and observability stack. You will be instrumental in defining product value, messaging, and GTM strategies, collaborating closely with product management and enablement teams to drive growth and adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with and educate Product Managers to define product value, messaging, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and go-to-market teams to develop customer-facing materials, including reference architectures and implementation guides.
  • Manage the launches of new products and features relevant to target buyers.
  • Conduct internal and customer research to identify pain points, competitive landscape, and market opportunities.
  • Train go-to-market and sales teams on product capabilities and value to enhance customer engagement.
  • Own customer lifecycle campaigns, including competitive positioning, retention, and upsell/cross-sell initiatives.

Requirements

  • 6 or more years of experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, or product management.
  • Demonstrated experience marketing and selling to a technical audience.
  • Passion for open source, cloud native, and infrastructure technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong skills in articulating technical product value to both customers and sellers.
  • Experience leading product or feature launches independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong product and technical curiosity, with expertise in packaging, positioning, and messaging.
  • Demonstrated quantitative skills for analyzing campaign performance and lifecycle metrics.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Consistent execution and delivery of impactful results.
