About the Opportunity:
The SQL Developer plays a key role in supporting multiple marketing communications teams by developing and maintaining data solutions that improve operational efficiency and data accuracy. This role contributes by creating and managing SQL scripts, supporting web content data needs, and providing data analysis and reporting to help the organization meet its automation and efficiency goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop SQL scripts, views, and stored procedures for ETL processes and reporting.
- Support web development and content teams by preparing Marketing CMS data for web platforms.
- Analyze data and generate ad hoc and self-service reports for business users.
- Create front-end forms, SQL tables, and relationships using CMS administrative tools.
- Write ad hoc queries in MS SQL Server Management Studio to support business requests.
- Troubleshoot and research root causes of system issues including communication, process, training, or system defects.
- Evaluate and improve business systems alignment with user needs.
- Perform data mapping and translations to ensure data accuracy and system integrity.
- Provide internal system support, respond to inquiries, investigate system errors, and escalate issues to IT as needed.
- Collaborate with project teams in scrum operations and with other teams and business leaders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Engineering Management, or related field plus 2 years relevant experience; or Master’s degree plus 1 year relevant experience.
- Experience with SQL programming.
- Proficiency with MS SQL Server or Oracle SQL.
- Experience in technology development and production support.
- Ability to work and communicate across operational areas in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of operations research principles to analyze and optimize systems and processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills tailored to audience and business objectives.
- Ability to analyze and apply operations research methods and recommend solutions.
- Demonstrated project and timeline management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 applications.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Salary range from $114,088 to $120,000 per year.
