The Solution Architect - Quality and Improvements plays a critical role in ensuring the technical quality and readiness of product implementations for strategic utility customers worldwide. This position leads solution design, development, and delivery efforts, collaborating across teams to drive technically sound, on-time, and cost-effective project launches. The role is essential for maintaining high standards in product implementations and continuous improvement based on stakeholder feedback.Responsibilities
- Lead overall solution design and development for utility customers in collaboration with global engineering teams
- Support Technical Program Managers and Delivery Managers through requirement analysis, data integration, and technical issue resolution
- Develop and manage the gate process to ensure technical soundness and timely project completion
- Review new product implementations for performance, test cases, plans, and risk mitigation
- Facilitate communication between Product Management and implementation teams regarding launch issues and risks
- Establish structures for continuous improvement of technical implementations and solutions
- Analyze customer requirements and customize solutions accordingly
- Conduct feedback sessions with Solution Architects to enhance implementation quality and training
- Manage select customer engagements using established onboarding processes and tools
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent engineering field
- 3 to 6 years of experience in solution development for cloud-based B2B implementations
- Proven track record in system architecture design, implementation, and deployment in customer-facing roles with large enterprises
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage global business and IT stakeholders
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, time management, and communication skills
- Experience with pre-sales technical content development preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of programming tools such as Java, Spring, Hibernate, J2EE, and REST Services is a plus
- Experience in fast-paced start-up environments is preferred
