About the Opportunity
The Software Production Engineer is responsible for leading the design, development, testing, and integration of software applications. This role ensures scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements, supporting the organization's operational and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead detailed design and end-to-end development (front-end and back-end) and unit testing
- Design client-side and server-side architecture
- Produce scalable and flexible code meeting all requirements
- Develop, deploy, test, and maintain technical assets in a secure enterprise environment
- Support functional testing
- Address and resolve production support issues promptly
- Ensure timely delivery and coordination with other teams
- Cross-train and mentor team members on relevant technologies
- Analyze and translate business requirements into technical designs with security considerations
- Collaborate with business users and product managers to develop software solutions
- Manage expectations and communicate proactively regarding potential roadblocks
- Own project deliverables and maintain communication and quality standards
- Understand the overall solution, its business value, architecture, and risks
- Provide input on scalable feature and functionality design
