This Software Engineer position at RemoteHunter focuses on analysis, design, implementation, unit testing, and quality engineering to develop and maintain high-quality software solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build a new platform from the ground up, utilizing a fresh technology stack and modern processes. You will be expected to rapidly learn and apply new tools, languages, and business domains, including data science and psychometrics, while exploring innovative approaches like Large Language Model (LLM) code generation and agentic AI development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support a cutting-edge web application stack.
• Leverage and refine LLM-codegen processes to achieve an optimal balance between agility and software quality.
• Design and implement agent-driven AI architectures for advanced functionalities.
• Collaborate closely with customers to tailor tools to their specific needs and requirements.
• Develop specialized psychometrics and data science-focused tools, primarily using R.
• Operate, extend, and create robust cloud-based solutions within the AWS ecosystem.
• Ensure code development and maintenance adhere to best practices for maintainability, performance, security, and verifiability.
• Demonstrate a strong aptitude for quickly learning new processes, development tools, and complex business domains.
• Work collaboratively with engineering leadership to deliver timely, robust software solutions that meet established best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or an equivalent technology discipline, or possess equivalent on-the-job training.
• Strong willingness and capacity to learn new technologies and domains, including R programming, data science principles, and agentic AI cloud applications.
• 3-5 years of relevant full-stack software development experience.
• Proven experience in software development, maintenance, and testing, adhering to industry best practices.
• Experience working with highly available and highly concurrent cloud-based web applications.
• A background in statistics is considered a significant advantage.

Compensation

This full-time Software Engineer position offers a competitive annual salary ranging between $120,000 and $140,000. Employees are also eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.
