About the Opportunity
The Software Engineer, Platform is responsible for designing and maintaining backend services critical to the organization's products, such as payments, analytics, subscriptions, and text-to-speech functionality. This role contributes to building scalable and performant APIs that support both internal needs and enterprise client integrations, directly impacting product experience and business operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs including public and internal services
- Ensure APIs meet business and scalability requirements
- Manage backend API performance and maintainability
- Collaborate on B2B solutions for enterprise customization and integration
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy
Requirements
- Proven backend development experience with TypeScript and Node.js
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform; knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers
- Ability to prioritize and implement tasks efficiently based on urgency and impact
- Preferred experience with Docker and containerized deployments
- Preferred proficiency in deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes
Pay Range and Compensation Package
- United States Based Salary range: 140,000-200,000 USD per year plus bonus and stock options, depending on experience
