About the Opportunity
The Software Developer 3 is responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and testing software applications or operating systems based on provided design specifications. This role contributes by enhancing existing software architecture, suggesting improvements, and delivering features that align with business objectives within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software applications in accordance with design specifications
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues
- Build enhancements within existing software architectures
- Suggest architectural improvements
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
- Participate in Agile methodologies including scrum ceremonies
- Manage tasks and estimations using JIRA
- Lead feature design reviews and documentation
- Build cloud-based platforms supporting application lifecycle
- Implement and optimize algorithms aligned with business goals
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Four years of experience in software development or related positions
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, or similar object-oriented languages
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern web application development from database to user interface
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and MVC architecture
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies
- Experience with JIRA for task management
- Ability to drive feature design reviews and produce documentation
- Experience building cloud-based platforms supporting application design and testing
Pay Range and Compensation Package
