About the Opportunity
The Software & Analytics Engineer role involves designing, developing, and supporting scalable, secure, and user-friendly software solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based analytical applications supporting reporting, planning, and decision-making
- Build and support data pipelines and workflows including ingestion, transformation, validation, and integration
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, database schemas, and data access patterns for performance and scalability
- Create user-facing dashboards, visualizations, and analytical interfaces for data exploration
- Translate complex analytical requirements into scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Implement software development best practices such as version control, testing, and code reviews
- Support application lifecycle management including enhancements, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions
- Ensure secure development practices and proper handling of data and dependencies
- Document application architecture, workflows, and operational processes
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in software engineering or application development
- Strong expertise in Python development
- Experience building data-driven or analytical applications including dashboards and interactive tools
- Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data pipelines, and application architecture principles
- Experience with modern frameworks and tools such as Flask, FastAPI, Dash, or Streamlit
- Familiarity with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative, fast-paced environments
