The Senior Software Engineer role is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing IT software products and services to support business objectives. This position plays a key role in delivering secure and efficient software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and occasionally leading medium to high complexity IT projects. The role contributes to enhancing technology practices and ensuring quality through mentoring, process improvement, and automated testing.Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development and support teams to create and optimize IT software products and solutions.
- Partner with business analytics, product managers, and external vendors to deliver custom IT solutions.
- Build, enhance, and maintain web-based, data-intensive applications.
- Implement technical CRM configurations and JavaScript integrations aligned with business needs.
- Assist in configuring in-house software and offering SaaS to customers.
- Mentor and coach IT personnel on secure coding and best practices.
- Manage sprint tickets, implement changes across environments, and clarify requirements with clients.
- Occasionally lead and manage medium to high complexity IT projects and system integrations.
- Contribute to process improvements and adoption of standard tools and procedures.
- Assist in project estimation, planning, and ensuring best practices in technology and security.
- Develop and execute Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing solutions.
- Travel domestically up to 15% as needed.
