The Senior Director, HR Business Partner (AI-Native) will lead the human resources strategy during a major transformation to AI-native operations within the Engineering, Product & Design (EPD) organization. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role involves designing workforce models, managing HR business partners for other functions, and creating frameworks for AI-integrated organizational change. The position plays a critical role in guiding the company’s shift to autonomous systems with human oversight, directly influencing workforce structure and people processes.Responsibilities
- Collaborate with CTO and EPD leaders to implement AI-native operating models into workforce decisions.
- Develop role frameworks and career paths aligned with AI-native transformations.
- Lead change management for significant role and organizational shifts.
- Translate pilot program outcomes into scalable organizational playbooks.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on AI-native hiring profiles.
- Challenge unsubstantiated people decisions using data.
- Document and share AI-native people practices and lessons across functions.
- Build frameworks for workforce transition and manager coaching applicable company-wide.
- Define metrics to assess the effectiveness of AI-native transformation efforts.
- Manage and develop a team of HR Business Partners supporting non-EPD units.
- Prepare HRBP teams to apply AI transformation practices in their respective functions.
- Integrate AI-native tools and methodologies within the HRBP function.
- Adapt core people programs to align with AI-native operations.
- Contribute to overall people strategy as a senior People leadership member.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of progressive HR experience.
- At least 5 years as a strategic HR Business Partner within technical organizations (Engineering, Product, or Design).
- Proven experience leading people strategy through significant organizational transformation.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
- US-based salary range is $212,000 to $312,000, with final salary determined by experience, skills, and location.
- Compensation includes medical, dental, vision, financial benefits, and equity.
