About the Opportunity
This team operates a unified data access layer and platform connecting almost all of the organization’s online data. Approximately 70% of the organization’s online traffic and products flow through this infrastructure service. Positioned centrally between user-facing products and backend infrastructure, the platform provides a global schema and query system through a GraphQL interface. The team focuses on delivering a seamless and efficient developer experience by simplifying APIs, improving performance, and promoting team autonomy. The platform is treated as a product and follows strong principles of platform engineering.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with tenant product teams to guide the tooling roadmap and address metrics and scaling challenges within observability infrastructure
- Define project requirements to improve reliability and performance through framework changes and tenant-focused observability
- Develop deep technical expertise in the platform framework and understand product teams’ use cases and requests
- Support the platform’s developer customer base, ensuring daily production deployments
- Maintain focus during designated daily work blocks
Requirements
- Over 6 years of experience in relevant roles, preferably on teams managing developer platforms
- Experience collaborating across product and infrastructure engineering teams
- Proven ability to operate critical online backend services
- Comfortable delivering high-visibility, complex projects
- Preferred expertise in GraphQL, Kotlin, and AI-enabled development workflows

Compensation
- Base pay range $191,000 to $225,000 USD
- Eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits
