Job Description
About the Opportunity
A skilled Security Engineer is sought to join the Security Operations team, focusing on overall business security. This role involves managing information security solutions and actively monitoring systems for intrusion, contributing significantly to a robust security posture.
Responsibilities
- Partner with technical teams to secure software solutions and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the Security Operations Team to build, administer, and support cybersecurity solutions.
- Utilize IT automation and AI models in daily tasks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Build and secure AI / LLM-based technologies for various business cases, pioneering new security frontiers.
- Provide technical security support to IT staff, ensuring a secure operational environment.
- Design systems following best practices and create comprehensive supporting documentation.
- Stay current with cybersecurity developments and continuously enhance the organization's security posture.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of security solutions such as SIEM, EDR, SASE, SOAR.
- Minimum 3 years of technical experience in information security.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong understanding of network communication protocols (OSI model).
- General knowledge of database security and encryption (in transit and at rest).
- Familiarity with authentication services like Active Directory and Okta.
- Experience implementing security controls across various system types.
- Relevant certifications (CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or similar) are beneficial.
- Strong understanding of network security, data protection, server/container security, and application security.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex security concepts clearly and concisely.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field preferred.
