Job Description
About the Opportunity
The Scrum Master role at RemoteHunter involves coordinating Agile development teams, overseeing the software development lifecycle, and facilitating scrum activities to ensure efficient project execution for a global leader in engineering services.
Responsibilities
- Plan and facilitate scrum activities including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, board reviews, and retrospectives.
- Break down work into substories, tasks, spikes, etc.
- Assist in building schedules for deliverables and perform resource mapping/loading.
- Identify additional resource requirements and strategically balance allocation.
- Collaborate with clients/end users to understand business requirements.
- Act as liaison between development teams and product management.
- Identify and remove impediments to scrum processes.
- Manage backlog and team processes while escalating risk issues.
- Drive the team to meet goals and milestones, addressing any delays.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in an engineering field with a relevant Bachelor’s degree.
- Hands-on Scrum Master experience with cross-functional Agile teams in various engineering disciplines.
- Experience with Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, and Software Development.
- Proficiency with scrum tools such as JIRA.
- Preferred Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.

Compensation
Base salary range: $62,200 - $131,560, with actual compensation varying based on several factors including experience and performance. Additional incentives may apply.
