About the Opportunity
The organization is a global leader in engineering services, providing R&D and engineering support across various industries including autonomous vehicles and robotics. The Scrum Master role involves coordinating Agile development teams, overseeing the software development lifecycle, and facilitating scrum activities to ensure efficient project execution.
Responsibilities
- Plan and facilitate scrum activities such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, board reviews, and retrospectives
- Ensure breakdown of work into substories, tasks, spikes, etc.
- Assist in building the schedule for deliverables and perform resource mapping/loading
- Identify if additional resources are required and balance resource allocation strategically
- Collaborate with clients or end users to understand business requirements
- Act as liaison between development teams and product management to uphold project processes
- Identify and remove impediments to development and scrum processes
- Manage backlog and team processes
- Escalate risk issues beyond the development group to higher management levels
- Drive the team to meet goals and milestones, proactively addressing delays
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in an engineering field with a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline
- Hands-on Scrum Master experience with cross-functional Agile teams in:
- Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Electronics, Embedded Systems & Mechatronics
- Software Development & Validation / Testing
- Functional Safety
- Proficiency with scrum tools such as JIRA
- Preferred Certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework

Compensation
Base salary range: $62,200 - $131,560. Actual compensation may vary based on location, education, certifications, experience, seniority, performance, market factors, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions depending on the role and applicable laws. Candidates are typically not hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
