About the Opportunity
This team provides medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology care using advanced virtual technologies. The Scheduling Assistant role supports healthcare professionals by delivering administrative and patient support services to streamline workflows, improve patient experiences, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a virtual environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with scheduling and contact center activities
- Answer inbound calls to schedule appointments for new or existing patients at all locations
- Collect and document patient medical history into the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare-specific training preferred but not required
- Friendly, polite, and professional demeanor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Empathy and a caring attitude toward patients
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to US HIPAA laws and other relevant regulations
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, private workspace
- Must live in Mississippi
Compensation & Benefits
This full-time role offers an hourly wage of $14.00 and includes equipment for remote work: a secure laptop, monitor, headset, and webcam. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:15 PM CST, with one Saturday every 8 weeks from 6:45 AM to 12:45 PM CST.
