About the Opportunity
This team seeks an innovative Research And Development Analyst to support the development of clinical assessment products across a portfolio specializing in cognition, memory, neuropsychology, behavior, occupational therapy, speech/language therapy, early childhood, personality/psychopathology, and achievement. The role can be remote or based in San Antonio, TX, or Bloomington, MN, reporting to the Research and Development Manager.
Responsibilities
- Support research and development efforts under the supervision of a Research Director.
- Contribute to the development, refinement, maintenance, and quality control of assessments.
- Manage multiple products at various stages of development with mental flexibility and adaptability.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Learn from mentors, incorporate feedback, and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Utilize technology, mobile and web applications, software, and develop skills in areas such as artificial intelligence.
- Analyze assumptions, evaluate arguments, and draw clear, consistent, and sound conclusions communicated constructively.
- Balance clinical, research, and business requirements within project scope, time, and cost constraints.
- Collaborate with publishing, psychometrics, project management, and software development teams to meet publication schedules.
- Participate in work groups to improve internal processes and initiatives.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or educational field from a nationally recognized institution; Master’s degree preferred.
- Research experience or training in research implementation.
- Familiarity with assessment practices.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Strong oral, written, and business communication skills to explain complex information clearly.
- Ability to manage various tasks and work collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams.
- Self-starter with initiative and independent work capability.
- Enthusiasm for learning about test development and publishing processes.
- Comfortable with technology and software applications.
- Training or interest in basic research methods and statistics.
- Understanding of business environment requirements differing from clinical, educational, or academic practice.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in speech, language, and/or communication assessment.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.
- Subject matter experience in clinical or educational settings, especially speech and language.
- Strong critical thinking skills with clear and fair communication of ideas.
- Editorial experience.
Compensation
The minimum full-time salary range is between $55,000 and $64,000, with eligibility to participate in an annual incentive program.
