The Remote Technology Technical Support Representative role supports high-speed internet services by providing technical assistance that enhances customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front line, first level, technical assistance for consumers
  • Support client-specific high speed internet services
  • Resolve technical problems in a fast paced, customer facing environment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve internet connectivity and device issues
  • Support customer needs related to internet services and devices, including triage and resolution
  • Deliver support for internet service and connectivity issues related to operating system, PC, and browser configuration
  • Demonstrate advanced product knowledge to solve customer issues
  • Resolve customer issues on the first call when possible
  • Open and manage trouble ticket system for user, network, and OS issues
  • Maintain patience, courtesy, and a positive attitude with customers
  • Address and solve technical problems promptly and complete assignments on time
  • Adhere to work schedule and company policies

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months customer service experience
  • At least 18 years old
  • Ability to type at least 25 words per minute
  • Comfortable with desktop computer systems, general Windows knowledge
  • Customer service and/or sales experience preferred
  • College degree preferred but not required

Work from Home Requirements

  • Subscribed internet download speed of at least 25 Mbps
  • Subscribed internet upload speed of at least 10 Mbps
  • ISP must have no packet loss and ping under 30ms
  • Internet connection cannot be Satellite, Mobile Data, P2P, or VPN
  • Proof of internet details required
  • Clean and quiet workspace
