The Recruiter (Remote) is responsible for managing the recruitment process for security officer positions. This role involves conducting candidate interviews, evaluating qualifications, and making hiring decisions aligned with organizational needs. The position supports department heads in identifying staffing requirements and sourcing qualified candidates. It plays a key role in ensuring the organization maintains a skilled workforce to meet operational demands while working remotely and leveraging recruitment technology.Responsibilities
- Conduct initial interviews and select candidates to advance in the hiring process
- Review applications assessing work history, education, skills, and compensation needs
- Match applicants with job requirements using manual and computerized methods
- Inform candidates about job duties, compensation, benefits, schedules, policies, and promotional opportunities
- Maintain records of selected and non-selected applicants
- Perform related administrative tasks as required
Requirements
- Preferably 1 year or more experience in a security role with recruiting/interviewing experience, but not required
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Reliable communication means (phone or pager)
- Reliable transportation (public or private)
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- High School Diploma or GED
- Willingness to complete pre-employment screening including drug test and background check
- Understanding of recruiting methods, hiring regulations, and office procedures
- Proficiency with computers and office software
- Strong interviewing and written communication skills
