Responsibilities

- Write secure, production-ready Python code with attention to concurrency, fault-tolerance, and observability.
- Create architecture and design documents ensuring adherence to performance and enterprise standards.
- Develop and optimize data processing for large datasets supporting batch and near-real-time workloads.
- Analyze diverse datasets to improve applications and business processes.
- Develop reporting tools, dashboards, and data visualizations as needed.
- Identify and resolve defects, performance issues, and architectural weaknesses.
- Contribute to engineering best practices, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
- Participate in Agile development and CI/CD processes ensuring stable, frequent deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and develop scalable solutions.
- Support operational stability through incident response, debugging, and post-incident analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of five years’ Python development experience in enterprise environments.
- Proven experience maintaining large-scale production applications with high reliability.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Sybase including query tuning and schema design.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
- Salary range from 100,000 to 150,000 USD.
- New H1B sponsorship may be available; H1B transfers welcomed.
- Full-time, direct W2 employment.
