About the Opportunity

As a Project Manager at RemoteHunter, you will independently lead and direct project activities from initiation to customer handoff. This crucial role ensures project objectives are met on time, within budget, and according to RemoteHunter's project management methodologies and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead one or multiple medium to large projects with department or site-level strategic importance.
  • Manage projects with moderate to high risk, interdependencies, and associated costs.
  • Manage established budgets, actively participate in budget creation and tracking, and adhere to budget guidelines.
  • Facilitate problem-solving, decision-making, and change management to achieve project objectives with minimal supervision.
  • Apply negotiation skills and business acumen to effectively manage projects and build strong relationships across diverse functions.
  • May supervise and evaluate staff from other departments, divisions, contractors, and vendors; potential for direct and indirect reports.
  • Advocate for and advise staff on project management practices, methods, and standards.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies, including monitoring scrum processes and meetings.
  • Guide teams on Agile practices and values to implement critical projects successfully.
  • Assess team/organization maturity and coach them to achieve higher sustainable levels.
  • Remove impediments or guide teams in doing so, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Foster a trusting and safe environment conducive to problem resolution.
  • Facilitate work without coercion, assigning, or dictating tasks.
  • Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution among team members.
  • Support and educate the Product Owner in backlog creation and refinement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience in Project Management and business-related activities, or a Master's degree with 4 years of experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.
  • Preferred education in project management, business administration, or management.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Product Management, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, and/or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) are highly desirable.

Compensation

The compensation for this full-time Project Manager position ranges from $95,534 to $133,764 per year. The role operates on a Monday through Friday business hours schedule and is 100% remote with approximately 10% or more travel required.
