The Payments Analyst role supports the growth and efficiency of the global Payments ecosystem by analyzing transaction data, monitoring key performance indicators, and identifying opportunities to enhance payment processes and customer experience. This position contributes to data-driven decision-making and operational improvements across payment platforms.Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze payment performance metrics such as authorization rates, chargebacks, declines, and processing costs.
- Query and assess large datasets to detect trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to share performance insights.
- Assist in investigating payment issues and support performance enhancement projects.
- Provide accurate data insights for various analyses and business requests.
- Communicate findings clearly to Payments team and cross-functional partners.
- Utilize SQL, Excel, and Tableau for data analysis; knowledge of Python or R is advantageous.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in SQL, preferably with Snowflake.
- Experience with both structured and unstructured data.
- Capability to transform data into actionable insights and visualizations.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau dashboards.
- Skilled in Excel and presenting data via PowerPoint.
- Effective verbal and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated collaboration across teams.
- Commitment to data-driven decision-making.
- Organized with the ability to manage independent tasks and deadlines.
- Minimum of 5 years in analytics, preferably within payments, FinTech, or digital commerce.

Pay Range and Compensation Package
- Estimated base pay range: $110,500 to $165,700 USD.
- Compensation varies based on market data, location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
