About the Opportunity:

RemoteHunter is seeking a Legal Operations Assistant to join a client's Legal Department within Global Corporate Services. This fully remote role, reporting to the Legal Operations Manager, is critical for supporting the team by managing shared inboxes and assisting with client screening processes using the ELM system, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective risk management.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the efficient triaging of requests received from multiple shared email inboxes.
  • Execute comprehensive client screenings, strictly adhering to documented policies and established processes.
  • Perform various additional administrative tasks as required to ensure smooth departmental operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a similar legal operations or administrative support role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with essential Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
  • Possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex operational challenges.
  • Maintain a keen focus on customer service and exhibit a high degree of integrity in all interactions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely summarize extensive research findings.
  • Exhibit a diligent work ethic and a collaborative team-player attitude.
  • Proven ability to maintain high productivity and focus while working independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A strong interest in legal and/or risk management technology and process optimization.

Compensation:

The salary for this full-time, non-exempt, overtime-eligible Legal Operations Assistant role varies by location. For candidates residing in Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Newark, San Jose, San Francisco, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia, the salary range is $57,385 to $88,895. For all other approved remote locations, the salary range is $49,900 to $77,300. Factors considered in determining compensation include education, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and certifications. Overtime is eligible after 40 hours of work per week.
