Legal Operations Assistant
RemoteHunter is seeking a Legal Operations Assistant to join the Legal Department within Global Corporate Services. Reporting to the Legal Operations Manager, this role is crucial for supporting the team by managing shared inboxes and assisting with client screening processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the efficient triaging of requests received from multiple shared email inboxes.
- Execute client screenings diligently, adhering to established documented policies and processes.
- Undertake additional administrative tasks as required to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar support or operations role.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex issues effectively.
- A keen focus on customer service, coupled with a high degree of integrity in all interactions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely summarize large volumes of research.
- Possess a diligent work ethic and a collaborative team-player attitude.
- Proven ability to maintain productivity and focus while working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- An interest in legal and/or risk management technology and processes is highly valued.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this full-time, non-exempt, overtime-eligible role varies by location:
- For candidates in specific high-cost areas (Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Newark, San Jose, San Francisco, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia), the range is $57,385 to $88,895.
- For all other locations, the salary range is $49,900 to $77,300.
Factors influencing compensation include education, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and certifications. Overtime is eligible after 40 hours of work.
