The Human Resources Manager serves as a strategic partner to site leadership, the human resources team, and employees to optimize organizational productivity and effectiveness. This role is responsible for managing key HR functions such as recruiting, leave administration, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. The position plays a crucial role in fostering a positive workplace environment and providing HR support both onsite and remotely across the business unit.Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations, workplace issues, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation
- Handle employment-related inquiries, escalating complex matters to leadership
- Manage recruitment by identifying and interviewing qualified candidates
- Oversee offer, pre-employment, and onboarding processes using applicant tracking and HRIS software
- Administer all aspects of leave programs and serve as primary contact for leave inquiries
- Maintain accurate leave documentation and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Oversee performance review processes and coach managers on best practices
- Support employee development initiatives and ensure consistent performance standards
- Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws
- Create and maintain employee personnel, medical, and training files
- Assist in developing and interpreting personnel policies and procedures
- Participate in setting HR objectives and managing HR metrics and reports
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent field
- Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience
- Strong HR management and people management skills
- Knowledge of HR functions and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Spanish language skills preferred
