Job Description
About the Opportunity: Human Resources Generalist at RemoteHunter
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will provide essential HR support and services within a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification. This remote role acts as a primary contact for employee relations, offering vital coaching, training, and support for key HR processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day coaching to managers on problem-solving, leadership style, change management, and career development.
- Offer guidance on performance improvement, company policy navigation, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and develop recovery plans.
- Manage and educate on the progressive discipline program.
- Support talent acquisition, compensation, equity, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Coach managers on career paths and development plans for top performers.
- Partner with managers to identify underperforming employees and create improvement strategies.
- Support annual performance and talent review processes.
- Utilize people analytics and reporting to support business KPIs and HR audits.
- Translate HR policies and procedures to align with specific business needs.
- Execute local HR processes with a standardized, consistent approach.
- Deliver management and employee training programs.
- Support annual HR processes, including performance reviews and calibration.
- Contribute to employee social and psychological well-being programs.
- Collaborate with immigration attorneys for visa, green card, and work permit facilitation.
- Process employee life cycle changes, including pre-employment testing adjudication.
- Manage employee welcome communications and conduct exit interviews.
- Provide support to managers during termination processes.
- Represent the client group in relevant forums and client management meetings.
- Participate in various ad hoc HR projects.
- Perform additional duties as required to meet organizational needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
- Active HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) are preferred.
- Proficiency in HR policies and procedures.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to develop HR policies aligned with organizational goals.
- Skilled in interpreting external business trends and best practices in HR.
- Aptitude for using HR metrics, KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards for informed decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring and supporting employees to resolve issues.
- Ability to foster an inclusive organizational culture that aligns with employee values.
- Proficiency in risk management related to employee management, recruitment, and behavioral issues.
- Experience in workplace optimization to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, conflict management, teamwork, accountability, agility, decisiveness, resilience, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
