About the Opportunity at RemoteHunter
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will join a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services. This pivotal remote role involves providing comprehensive HR support and services to both managers and employees. You will serve as a primary contact for employee relations, offering expert coaching, delivering essential training, and supporting critical HR processes across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily coaching to managers for problem-solving.
- Offer feedback on leadership styles and change management strategies.
- Coach on career development, performance improvement, and company policies.
- Guide managers in conflict resolution and plan development.
- Investigate employee complaints and create recovery plans.
- Manage and educate on the progressive discipline program.
- Support talent acquisition, compensation, equity, and workforce planning.
- Coach managers on career paths for top performers.
- Partner with managers to address underperforming employees and devise improvement strategies.
- Support annual performance and talent review processes.
- Utilize people analytics and reporting for business KPIs and HR audits.
- Translate HR policies to meet specific business needs.
- Execute local HR processes with a standardized approach.
- Deliver management and employee training programs.
- Support annual HR processes, including performance reviews and calibration.
- Champion employee social and psychological well-being initiatives.
- Collaborate with immigration attorneys for visa, green card, and work permit facilitation.
- Process employee life cycle changes efficiently.
- Adjudicate pre-employment testing results.
- Send welcoming emails to new employees and conduct thorough exit interviews.
- Support managers during termination processes.
- Represent the client group in relevant forums and client management meetings.
- Participate in various ad hoc HR projects.
- Perform other duties as required to support organizational needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
- Active HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) are preferred.
- Proficiency in HR policies and procedures.
- Strong business acumen to align HR policies with organizational goals.
- Ability to interpret external business trends and incorporate best practices.
- Skilled in using HR metrics, KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards for data-driven decisions.
- Proven experience in mentoring and supporting employees in issue resolution.
- Capability to foster an inclusive organizational culture aligned with employee values.
- Demonstrated risk management skills for employee management, recruitment, and behavioral issues.
- Experience in workplace optimization to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, conflict management, teamwork, accountability, agility, decisiveness, resilience, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
